Mission:

The OTC Collection Specialist is responsible for interacting with customers on various collection matters. The successful candidate should have prior business to business billing and/or collections experience, must be comfortable working with numbers and have a strong attention to detail. Experience with Excel (Intermediate plus) and Outlook are a must and prior collections, customer service and/or account management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Resolves past due accounts, customer deductions from remittances and/or all other accounts receivable issues.
• Process requests from the sales group and furnishes information requested regarding customer accounts.
• Analyze customer account status and report findings to management as required.
• Solves routine customer problems, investigates reasons / causes for customer dissatisfaction and evaluate customer satisfaction (for both internal and external customers).

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Associates Degree, Preferred College Degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Second language fluency preferred: French
• Minimum 2 years of order processing and/or customer support experience
• Strong data entry skills and the ability to ensure data accuracy.
• Ability to perform search / inquiry tasks, handle customer problems and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a cross functional team environment.
• Sound judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations. Possess above average analytical skills, comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office or Google software suite. Intermediate level, Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude

and providing exemplary internal and external customer service

• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of

instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

• Salesforce and Netsuite experience preferred
