The work:

• Act as an internal financial due diligence advisor, dedicated to ongoing improvement, from early stages to closing and beyond, reporting to our Europe Financial due diligence Lead.
• Analyze target companies’ financial performances, positions, quality of earnings, and key operating metrics, motivated to embrace new opportunities.
• Evaluate balance sheet items such as net financial debt and net working capital, proactive in skill enhancement.
• Advise our corporate development deal team on financial risks and commercial topics, including negotiating share purchase agreements and purchase price adjustment mechanisms.
• Identify items requiring commercial or financial integration actions, enthusiastic about professional growth.
•  With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

Here's what you'll need:

• Degree in economic sciences, business administration, finance, or a related topic, ideally combined with a CA, ACA, CPA, MBA, or CFA qualification (completed or in the process of completion)
• minimum 2 years’ relevant experience – for example in financial due diligence or an audit role – within the M&A Due Diligence department of one of the big four professional services firms or another big corporation
• track record in working on several financial due diligence projects
• in-depth skills in financial analysis and MS Excel and fluency in English and one or more of the following languages: German/Italian/French
