This position reports to

SCM Service Delivery Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation, IA Procurement & Logistic in Krakow.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supplier qualification and registration.
• Organize calls with suppliers and Ariba technical support, and act as the main point of contact for supplier qualification issues.
• Request, verify, and archive required qualification documentation, including ABB Global Terms and Conditions, ABB Code of Conduct, ISO Certificates, and Bank Documentation.
• Process Purchase Requisitions, create Purchase Orders, monitor order confirmations, manage on-time deliveries, and resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices.
• Collaborate closely with internal customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, and report achievements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Qualifications For The Role

• You are highly skilled in business English (B2/C1) and German or Italian (C1 is essential).
• You have 1-2 years of experience in a corporate environment, ideally in operational procurement/SCM.
• You possess advanced knowledge of SAP Ariba and Excel, which would be considered advantageous.
• You are passionate about excellent communication, fostering team spirit, and maintaining customer focus with a proactive approach.
• You have a demonstrated track record of negotiation skills.
