What role will you play?

1. Record and monitor day-to-day accounting transactions in SAP, with accuracy and in a timely manner;
2. Perform the month-end and quarter-end closing routines, including but not limited to calculations of accruals, deferrals and real estate taxes;
3. Keep abreast of changes in external accounting guidelines and foster the adoption of real estate’s accounting principles;
4. Support our partners in the preparation of accurate and reliable financial statements;
5. Prepare highly automated data reconciliations;
6. Create and deliver high quality, consistent and tailor-made reports in which our partners can rely on for effective decision-making processes;
7. Leverage and adopt new technologies and reporting systems (e.g. SAP Hana, Tableau, Winshuttle) to automate reporting processes and deliver an increased value to our partners;
8. Handle critical queries and provide accurate information to our real estate partners;
9. Get to know the corporate real estate business and interfaces to enhance, harmonize and improve processes;

We are looking for:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related fields;
2. Professional experience in similar fields, like corporate accounting, reporting, consulting or auditing;
3. Experience or knowledge on Global Business Services environment would be a plus;
4. Experience in SAP would be a plus;
5. Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel;
6. Fluency in English and German;
7. Availability to travel, if needed;
8. Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure;
9. Good communication skills and ability to work with a multitude of different stakeholders;
10. Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team;
