Role Overview
We count on you for:
1. Negotiating Procurement Contracts
- Purchase spot buys per authority limits
- Validate the ‘spot’ nature of the Purchase Request.
- Source and negotiate local contracts with selected suppliers/subcontractors
- Manage local suppliers/subcontractors.
- Define Procurement needs with internal customers. Develop request for quote.
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of the contract.
- Respect contracts and local framework agreements ensuring consistent application of contract conditions.
2. Manage Procurement Contracts
- Support Buyers to roll out contracts on site
- Promote automation, use of e-catalogues and reduction in spot buys.
- Negotiate and select local suppliers, manage the relationships and participate in supplier assessments.
- Manages local spend representing about 20% of the site spend, with the remainder of the spend covered by Group contracts.
- Deploy and follow up central contracts by “selling”/promoting contracts to all relevant users on site and applying the contracts as appropriate.
- Support buyers as needed in RFx preparation and contracting (based on supplier knowledge, site needs).
- Emphasis on site knowledge and impact on RFP/RFQ prep
3. Evaluate and Improve Purchase Performance
- Identify and lead productivity actions with main site stakeholders and communicate/collaborate with the
- Procurement and PtP Functions, especially issues that need to be addressed at corporate level.
- Frequently assess internal client satisfaction and foster ways of improving Procurement processes based on feedback received.
4. Manage the Procurement processes and activities
- Represent the Site towards the Procurement and SBS PtP Functions
- Act as the day-to-day single point of contact for the Site and Procurement and PtP Functions.
- Meet on a regular basis with internal customers to understand and communicate Procurement needs.
- Forward orders above authority limits requiring ad-hoc treatment to appropriate Procurement team.
- Manage claims on site for site contracts and for category contracts, escalating to category buyer if needed.
- Ensure compliance with the provisioning channels and processes.
- Ensure all necessary information is transferred to PtP to manage the process.
5. Manage the team and the Procurement network
- Actively participate to the Indirect Multi Site Buyer platform in an Agile mode
- Participate in and/or manage transversal Procurement projects
- Participate in Indirect site buyer team networks to share best practices and projects
- Close collaboration with Indirect and Technical Good and Services function buyers to identify group opportunities and synergies
You will bring:
- University degree or equivalent by experience OR Higher education (non-university) with specific specialization
- Fluent in French
- Good level of English
