To provide effective support to the supply chain function

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Respond to customer service enquiries in a proactive and timely manner
  • Liaise with freight company’s on shipment/delivery queries
  • Ensure all freight booking have been made in liaison with 3rd Party DC
  • Work with Supply Chain team to ensure any intercompany goods are moved between warehouses in a timely manner
  • Providing cover for other members of the Logistics Team
  • Publish monthly reports for the Logistics Manager that measures the freight company’s performance against KPIs.
  • Provide a monthly failure report to Logistics Manager, highlighting all issues encountered during that month and what solutions were taken to resolve the issue both in the short term and in the long-term.
  • To ensure returns are receipted on the system within a timely manner so that customers can receive credit notes within 10 working days of the return arriving back at the warehouse.
  • Ensure all agreed returns are expedited.
  • Monitor the outstanding returns report and ensure that any exceptions are resolved within 10 working days, escalating the issue to Customer Service Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • French speaking is essential
  • German speaking is desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Well-developed sense of personal responsibility.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team and alone.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise long and short-term objectives.
  • Diplomatic and able to negotiate solutions calmly and effectively.
  • Highly numerate with the ability to carry out detailed data analysis as required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
