Job Purpose

• Working closely with Sales professionals focused on German-speaking regions, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein by providing sales-support and via contributing to the overall sales strategy.
• Supporting the Head of Region to initiate and maintain a sales pipeline of prospects via proprietary databases, media, and referrals.
• Cleanse databases effectively, ensure clients are classified appropriately and leads are converted into clients.
• Supporting the team for ongoing client enquiries and the sales strategy. 

Responsibilities

• Learn to deal with inbound enquiries with Distribution team to address the daily requests timely. Assist with events and follow up people attended to understand key potential opportunities and coordinate further communication.
• Assist with the Sales strategic planning and best execution by engaging with our Data Engineering team for improved efficiency across the team.
• Assist in the sales process with timely reports and enhanced client communications where appropriate.
• Assist our Marketing team in minor translations from English into German as part of our media strategy (minor translations and checks from our translation agency).

Required Skills

• Educated to masters’ degree level, preferably in a numerate subject.
• Previous knowledge of financial instruments, finance and economics being advantageous.
• Native German and fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Proficient using Excel and wider Microsoft package.
• Experienced collecting market data via Bloomberg, Morningstar.
• Strong analytical (financial and non-financial) as well as financial writing skills.
• Ability to prepare financial and general business commentary.
• Commercial mind-set/strategic thinker.
• Internships in the asset management or banking industry appreciated but not required.
