German Team Lead - Third Party Risk Management Operations

TPRM framework has been introduced to ensure that Novartis is conducting business with third parties who align to Novartis’ ethical standards. This is achieved by a robust, proportionate and proactive process to qualify and manage third parties. This is critical and by which Novartis protects their business and their patients.
The Team Lead TPRM leads the teams of cluster associates for defined service line according to assigned geographies and continuous improvement activities in line with standard defined processes. The role ensures that the services in the allocated area are performed according to defined service levels and quality standards. Supports assigned countries/categories according to the globally defined processes.
Your key responsibilities:
•Manage TPRM Service delivery team at NGSCs with team size of 5-10
•Consolidates onboarding package for new hires, evaluate and ensure user readiness
•Coach the team and monitor the quality of the team deliverables
•Coordinate with other clusters and SDs in Procurement NGSCs to deliver quality services to the customers •Support to ensure process SOPs, training materials and work instructions for the area of responsibility in collaboration with process owners
•Responsible for effective workload management to enhance the productivity of the service center workforce •Measure KPIs for Compliance & Risk Management CoE and propose improvements.
•Contribute to continuous improvement activities in line with standard defined processes.
•Act as process owner for the TPRM process whereever applicable and Implement CoE business plan in area of responsibility
•Managing third party performance. Assess and agree appropriate actions to respond to process feedback. Escalating significant issues to the TPRM Leadership team member.
•Lead high quality and timely delivery of the global TPRM process, engage with different business functions and risk areas as well as the TPRM Leadership team to ensure that the service is delivering as required

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferably Finance/Accounting or Business Administration)
• Fluent English and German is a must
• 5+ years of direct, relevant experience in third-party risk management or operational risk management is preferred
• Procurement background in Order to Cash or R2R, will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365, Excel, SharePoint, other workflow tools
• Proven experience as People Manager, respective experience with leadership, leading the operations and service delivery teams
