You will become a valuable member of our Purchase to Pay (PtP) Department. The department is situated in Budapest playing an important role in our global finance organization. The department runs the following processes: accounts payable accounting activities including closing and reconciliation, vendor communication, reporting activities, supporting internal and external audit activities. Apart from these processes, you will have the chance to participate in various process development projects as well.

What is the job about?

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• processing PO invoices
• performing, follow-up closing activities
• checking and resolving tickets on a daily basis in Service Now
• receiving and responding to inquiries from our vendors, managing incoming emails - ensuring timely, accurate and customer friendly response
• supporting and providing all relevant data for KPI reporting and analysis (for instance double payment reporting)
• GRIR G/L reconciliation, open item clearing and reporting
• supporting to create, maintain and update process descriptions in addition

What do you need to apply?

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Finance/Accounting studies an advantage)
• You have some relevant work experience in a similar role or Accounts Payable/Intercompany experience in another Shared Service centre or you are a fresh graduate
• You possess solid accounting and Excel knowledge
• You are fluent in Italian and English
• You have a systematic and quality-oriented way of working
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are willing to acquire new skills
• You are proactive and solution-focused
• You have an agile mindset
