Welocalize are seeking Metadata Specialists in Cork, Ireland.
You will be working onsite at a leading consumer technology company as a contributor to the finished products released in target markets across the globe. You will evaluate the quality of both written and spoken text for services as it relates to your area of linguistic and geographic expertise. In addition, you may also work on content review and creation for Music and TV applications. You will work cooperatively with international teams to monitor and improve the quality of client products and partner data integrations.
Responsibilities
- QA various products in by accurately following testing instructions and test cases
- Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides and client-preferred checklists and glossaries
- Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner
- Ability to stay motivated and deliver results while working on repetitive tasks
- Ability to under and prioritize task and issues quickly and efficiently.
- Native level language skills and cultural awareness.
- Drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements
- Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed judgment calls with information at hand
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for and knowledge of the film and TV industry
- Experience with advanced spreadsheet
- At least one year experience working as a QA, Data Analyst or similar role
- Basic knowledge of iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV
- Up-to-date awareness of current and common technical language usage in the target language
Qualifications.
- Native-Level French and English
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed judgment calls with information at hand
- At least one year experience working as a QA, Data Analyst or similar role
- University Degree
Shifts will be 8 hours a day, over a standard 39 hour work week.

- 6:00 - 15:00 (IT) Sunday - Wednesday, 6:00 - 14:00 (IT) Thursday
- 11:00 - 20:00 (IT) Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00 - 19:00 (IT)Thursday
- 6:00 - 15:00 (IT) Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 - 14:00 (IT) Saturday
- 11:00 - 20:00 (IT) Tuesday - Friday, 11:00 - 19:00 (IT) Saturday
