What You Will Be Doing
- Manage operations support for sensitive policy, privacy and data protection questions from customers
- Act as system administrator for our customer response management tooling and processes
- Manage monthly and quarterly metrics reports to drive process and policy improvements
- Developing and maintaining internal process and procedure documentation with functional stakeholders
- Act as a point of contact and escalation path for our Customer Experience team, helping them navigate complex policy, privacy and data protection issues
- Support Slack’s App Directory team by reviewing new App Directory listings for privacy standards
- Partner with the European sales team to answer privacy, policy and data protection questions
- Partner with internal teams such as Legal, Security, Sales and Customer Experience to identify privacy issues, propose solutions and translate practices into official procedures
What You Should Have
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant role
- Experience working at a global technology/enterprise software company focused on privacy and/or policy
- Experience in a customer support environment, preferably handling requests relating to privacy and data protection issues
- Analyst skill set – detail oriented and data focused with the ability to think critically and identify process gaps
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to be flexible, adaptive, and lead through influence in a cross-functional and fast changing work environment
- BA degree required - JD, MPP, CIPP or other advanced degree or certification not required but useful
Bonus Points
- Proficiency in French, Spanish, German or other European languages preferred
- Prior experience as an administrator of Zendesk or other customer support software
- Accredited privacy certification (such as CIPP/E)
- Experience writing SQL queries for integration with other applications for metrics reporting
- You already have a deep understanding of Slack
