The Opportunity

We’re looking to hire a Collection Analyst, for a permanent contract. We are open as well to a 6 months fixed-term contract minimum. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Cash Collection Team Leader.

• Manage a portfolio of end-customers, outsourced to Sidetrade, in BtoC or BtoB market.
• Ensure that the cash collection activities meet the clients’ requirements by reducing aged debt.
• Operate the recovery of unpaid invoices by making and receiving calls from the customers, sending and responding emails and letters.
• Discuss and convince debtors on credit card payment, negotiate payment plan.
• customer’s accounts and resolve any issues that delay collections.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions by updating correspondence files, computer systems, using Sidetrade software (Augmented Cash) etc.
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and provide any reporting on collection activity.
• Analyse accounts to determine the relevant and most efficient collections strategy or actions.
• Work together with Sidetrade’s client to accelerate the overdue payments.

What we are looking for

• The successful candidate will be responsible for collections as well as some ad-hoc accounts receivable activities for our customers, in either a B2B or B2C environment. To be successful, you will need to :
• Have experience in customer service or relations
• (Experience in accounts receivable, cash collections, finance, or banking industry will be a distinctive advantage)
• Work towards targets, deliver on goals and meet deadlines
• Organise and plan your day effectively
• Have good usage in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel)
• (Knowledge of Office tools like CRM, ERP systems or other software applications will be a distinctive advantage)
• Work together as part of the team
• Act professional, be financially minded, and business acumen
• Great communication skills and with good telephone manners in French and English
• Eager to learn and to progress – Sidetrade facilitates and encourages personal development
